Originally called Decoration Day,Memorial Day commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service.It's a special occasion in which we can all take the time to honor those who have given their lives in the service of protecting our country.We commemorate not only those who have died serving the United States and provided security to our country but also those living who have served in the past or are currently enlisted in the military.
So,as we spend time with our families today,please remember all of our military still fighting for our freedom and be thankful today that we live in such a blessed country.
