Good Morning Ladies!
Well school is out and our children are home for the Summer!! I have a few ideas of some games, crafts, and fun recipes to do with your children. The Fourth of July is coming up so here is an easy fun craft idea…..
You’ll Need: White construction paper, yarn, craft sticks, red paint, and an old t-shirt you don’t mind getting paint on.
Directions: Trace a flag onto a piece of white construction paper. Tape yarn onto the craft sticks. Let the children dip the yarn in the red paint (holding craft stick in their hand and drag yarn across the flag outline. Makes great stripes! Add stick on stars, and display for the 4th of July!
We all know it has been really hot outside, so here is a cool refreshing game to play outside with the kiddos.
Balloon Battle
You will Need: Balloons, water, and string
Directions: Separate the kids into 2 teams if you have a lot of children, if not you don’t have to have teams. Fill up a balloon with water, tie a sting around it and tie it around each child’s ankle. (Not too tight) Each child tries to burst the other childs balloon first. Whoever ends up with their balloon not popped wins.
After getting wet and running around will then be a good time to go inside and make a delicious snack together with the kids. Here is a recipe for something easy, delicious and fun.
Baby Cheesecake
You will Need:( Per Child) A small plastic bowl or dish, 1 whole graham cracker, 1 tablespoon of cream cheese, and 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves (optional).
Directions: This is a dump recipe. Have each child dump all their ingredients into their bowl and mix up . Then have them put into individual cupcake holders on plastic bags that than can grab and eat. Store in refrigerator for about 10 to 15 minutes then serve chilled.
The kids will love all these ideas and it will keep them busy for a day. After you make a craft, play, and eat a good snack, then you will probably have some children that won’t mind laying down for some quiet time. I hope you all enjoy this and have a good time with your children/child this summer.
God Bless! Sis.Krisha
